I blame Batman Returns.

and that was it. I was sold on latex, gloss, form that fits like it means it and a little bit of danger.

Everything I make now still carries a trace of that moment.

 

I paint form, gloss, and suggestion…
exploring that fine line between control and indulgence.

My work lives in the space where you keep a little secret, or scream it loud and proud. 

When I paint, I’m chasing a moment - a shape held in beautiful suspense, frozen mid-breath, never quite letting go.

I obsess with how force moves through a form - and how it stretches, presses and ripples through a latex second skin. It’s that push-pull energy I look for, where motion creates both stress and release at the exact same time.

I love the feeling of ambiguity - I never quite know if what I’m painting is holding on for dear life or finally letting go.

And honestly, I like it that way.

While most pieces begin from my own direction and mood,
I’m open to select collaborations with models and photographers or commissions that feel like they belong in this space.
